In the world of distributed systems, it is becoming increasingly difficult to keep an eye on everything and a flawlessly functioning infrastructure is essential. In future, it will be possible to monitor the function of the halion AppService and automatically report any failures.

The halion AppService should report to the cloud backend via Alive Ping if the configuration is available and automatically send an email if a configured time is exceeded after which no Alive Ping has been sent.

This is intended to prevent a non-functional halion AppService from being detected far too late.
